Good Evening,

My name is David McClintic and my forefather, Peter (Piotr) Malec was born in your town. My siblings and I are bringing my mom to Poland. It is her first visit and we would like to come to the place where are family is from. It would be amazing if there was someone we could talk to about the town. Maybe a historian or just someone that might have a knowledge of the families that lived there. Piotr Malec was born in 1858. Though he died a long time ago, maybe there are some distant relatives still living in the village? Any help would be greatly appreciate. Thank you very much! We are very excited to come to your village and reunite with our heritage.

Nazywam się David McClintic, a mój przodek Peter (Piotr) Malec urodził się w twoim mieście. Razem z rodzeństwem sprowadzamy mamę do Polski. To jej pierwsza wizyta i chcielibyśmy przyjechać w miejsce, z którego pochodzi rodzina. Byłoby wspaniale, gdyby był ktoś, z kim moglibyśmy porozmawiać o mieście. Może historyk lub po prostu ktoś, kto może mieć wiedzę o rodzinach, które tam mieszkały. Piotr Malec urodził się w 1858 roku. Choć zmarł dawno temu, może we wsi mieszkają jacyś dalsi krewni? Każda pomoc byłaby bardzo mile widziana. Dziękuję bardzo! Jesteśmy bardzo podekscytowani, że możemy przyjechać do waszej wioski i ponownie zjednoczyć się z naszym dziedzictwem.

Thank you very much for your help! I have found some more info that maybe would help. Isa Pikel was living in Bobrowniki Male at least in the 70s. She may still be living there. This is the house they lived in:

Here is a picture of Peter Malec’s home in Poland. The people in the picture are: The man to the left is Anna’s son Pikul. Right in the picture is Pikul’s daughter ISA and son. The woman on the porch is Inga Malec, Frants Malec’s wife. The child in the middle is my Inga’s daughter Marianne.
